- 1 cup all-purpose flour (120 g)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (50 g)
- 1/2 cup coconut oil (120 ml), melted
- 1 cup brown sugar (200 g), packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (100 g)
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- Melt the coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and sea salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted coconut oil, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix until smooth, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then cut into squares.
Notes
- Use high-quality, organic coconut oil for the best flavor.
- Adjust the sweetness by modifying the amount of granulated sugar.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days.
