A quick and simple vegan cheese sauce that you can whip up in no time.
Ingredients

- 1 cup raw cashews, soaked for 4 hours
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Drain and rinse the soaked cashews.
- Add all ingredients to a blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve warm over pasta or as a dip.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- Reheat gently on the stove.
- Can add spices for extra flavor.
