Description

Easy spinach and ricotta stuffed shells are a delicious and simple dish perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions and drain.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, spinach, 1/2 cup mozzarella, parmesan, egg, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Stuff each pasta shell with the cheese mixture.
  5. Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Place the stuffed shells in the dish and cover with remaining marinara sauce.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly.

Notes

  • Feel free to add herbs to the cheese mixture for extra flavor.
  • Use fresh spinach for a better taste.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
