Description

A simple and delicious spicy salmon sushi bake recipe that combines sushi flavors in a convenient casserole form.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1 pound salmon, cooked and flaked
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 sheet nori, cut into strips
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  3. Combine sushi rice and water in a pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix the flaked salmon, mayonnaise, sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and salt.
  5. Spread the cooked rice evenly in a baking dish.
  6. Layer the salmon mixture over the rice.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes until heated through.
  8. Garnish with nori strips and green onions before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust the spiciness by adding more or less sriracha.
  • Use cooked salmon for best results.
  • Serve with extra soy sauce on the side.
