Description

These easy homemade dinner rolls are soft and fluffy. Perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and sugar. Add yeast and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour and salt.
  3. Add melted butter and eggs to the yeast mixture. Stir to combine.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the flour mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  5. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
  6. Place the dough in a greased bowl. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
  7. Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 pieces. Shape into rolls.
  8. Place rolls on a baking sheet. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Brush with melted butter before serving.
