Description

This is an easy corned beef and cabbage recipe that is perfect for a hearty meal.


Ingredients

  • 3 lbs corned beef brisket
  • 1 medium onion, quartered
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 head green cabbage, cut into wedges
  • 4 medium carrots, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1 tablespoon black peppercorns
  • 2 bay leaves

Instructions

  1. Place the corned beef in a large pot.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, beef broth, black peppercorns, and bay leaves.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2.5 hours.
  4. Add the carrots and cabbage to the pot.
