Description

A simple and delicious apple strudel recipe.


Ingredients

  • 4 apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 package phyllo dough
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix apples, sugar, and cinnamon.
  3. Lay out one sheet of phyllo dough and brush with melted butter.
  4. Layer another sheet on top and brush again.
  5. Spread a portion of the apple mixture, raisins, and walnuts on the dough.
  6. Roll the dough tightly and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Brush the top with beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let it cool before serving.

Notes

  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
