Ingredients

- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients. Stir until just mixed.
- Add chocolate chips and nuts if using. Fold gently.
- Fill muffin cups 2/3 full with batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let muffins cool before serving.
