Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in milk and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk flour and baking powder.
- Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet mixture.
- Divide batter into two bowls and add food coloring to one.
- Pour colored batter into the center of the plain batter in a cake pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool before frosting.
- Decorate with Easter-themed decorations.
