Ingredients

  • 1 cup buttercream frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
  3. In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla; mix well.
  5. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  7. Fill each cupcake liner with batter, about 2/3 full.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cupcakes cool completely before frosting.
  10. Color the buttercream frosting with food coloring and decorate as desired.
