Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for icing)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, and salt to the yeast mixture.
  3. Gradually add flour and knead until dough is smooth.
  4. Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  6. Spread softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon over the dough.
  7. Roll the dough tightly and slice into 12 pieces.
  8. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.
  9. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
  10. Mix powdered sugar and milk to make icing.
  11. Drizzle icing over warm rolls before serving.
