Description

Easter Bunny Cupcakes are festive treats perfect for spring celebrations.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 batch buttercream frosting
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 12 miniature chocolate eggs
  • 24 candy eyes
  • 12 large marshmallows
  • Pink candy melts (for noses)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the cake mix according to the package instructions.
  3. Fill cupcake liners in a muffin tin with the batter.
  4. Bake for 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Let the cupcakes cool completely.
  6. Frost each cupcake with buttercream frosting.
  7. Sprinkle shredded coconut on top to resemble fur.
  8. Place two candy eyes and a pink candy melt for the nose on each cupcake.
  9. Cut marshmallows in half and place them as bunny ears.
  10. Add chocolate eggs around the base of the cupcakes.

Notes

  • Use different colors of candy melts for variety.
  • Store cupcakes in an airtight container.
  • These cupcakes can be made a day in advance.
