Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour two round cake pans.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Mix in milk and vanilla extract.
  6. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  8. Pour the batter into prepared pans.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cakes cool completely before frosting.
  11. Mix powdered sugar with 1/4 cup milk to make frosting.
