Description

A delicious pastry filled with meat, cheese, or vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 cup cooked beef, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup onion, diced
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, butter, and salt.
  3. Add cold water and knead until smooth.
  4. Roll out the dough and cut into circles.
  5. In another bowl, combine beef, cheese, and onion.
  6. Place filling in the center of each circle.
  7. Fold the dough over and seal the edges.
  8. Brush with beaten egg.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • Can substitute fillings as desired.
