Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Add flour and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Punch down the dough and shape it into rolls.
- Place rolls on a baking sheet and let them rise for 30 minutes.
- Make slashes on top of each roll.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Store rolls in a paper bag for freshness.
- Best served warm.
- Can be frozen for later use.
