Description

A hearty and easy crockpot lasagna recipe.


Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet and drain excess fat.
  2. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the crockpot.
  4. Layer 4 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  5. Add half of the ricotta mixture and half of the ground beef.
  6. Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Repeat the layers, finishing with noodles, sauce, and cheese on top.
  8. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or until noodles are tender.

Notes

  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms.
  • Make sure to break noodles to fit crockpot.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
