Description

This is a simple crockpot green chile chicken recipe. It is flavorful and easy to prepare.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken breasts
  • 1 can (10 oz) green chile enchilada sauce
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup corn, frozen or canned
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. Pour green chile enchilada sauce over the chicken.
  3. Add black beans and corn to the crockpot.
  4. Sprinkle cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper over the mixture.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Shred the chicken before serving.
