Description

A delicious low carb pizza casserole made in the crock pot.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Drain excess fat and add Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
  3. Layer half of the beef in the crock pot.
  4. Add half of the bell peppers and half of the pepperoni.
  5. Spread half of the marinara sauce over the top.
  6. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  8. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy.

Notes

  • Use any low carb marinara sauce.
  • Feel free to add more vegetables.
  • Adjust cooking time based on your crock pot model.
