Description
Creamy Tuscan sausage pasta that’s better than takeout.
Ingredients

- 12 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 2 cups spinach
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add Italian sausage and cook until browned.
- Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add diced tomatoes and cook for 3 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Add spinach and cook until wilted.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Mix in cooked pasta and combine well.
- Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
Notes
- You can substitute sausage with chicken or turkey.
- Adjust the amount of cream for desired richness.
- Fresh basil can be added for extra flavor.
