- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream (240 ml)
- 1 cup chicken broth (240 ml)
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (about 100 g)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine, and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Whisk in grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning until the cheese melts and the sauce is smooth.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, and let it simmer for an additional 3-5 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with pasta, rice, or crusty bread.
