Description

Cream cheese chicken enchiladas are a creamy, savory dish that combines chicken with a rich cream cheese filling, wrapped in tortillas and topped with sauce and cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 can (10 oz) enchilada sauce
  • 8 flour tortillas
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken, cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread a small amount of enchilada sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
  4. Fill each tortilla with the chicken mixture and roll them up.
  5. Place the rolled tortillas seam-side down in the baking dish.
  6. Pour the remaining enchilada sauce over the top of the tortillas.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
