Description

A savory pasta dish featuring steak and a flavorful cowboy butter sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat a skillet over high heat and cook the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove from skillet and let it rest.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  5. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Stir in parsley, chives, and lemon juice.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the butter sauce.
  8. Slice the steak and serve it on top of the pasta.
