Description
A homemade version of the classic Little Debbie Valentine Cakes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box of cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp of milk
- 1/4 cup of melted butter
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- Pink frosting
- Heart-shaped sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a heart-shaped cake pan.
- In a bowl, mix the cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool completely.
- In a separate bowl, mix powdered sugar, milk, melted butter, and vanilla to make icing.
- Spread icing on top of the cooled cakes.
- Decorate with pink frosting and sprinkles.
- Allow the cakes to set before serving.
Notes
- Use food coloring for different frosting colors.
- Store in an airtight container.
- These cakes can be frozen for later use.
