Description

Deliciously soft bread with a sweet cinnamon sugar filling.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add warm milk and melted butter. Mix until combined.
  3. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Let the dough rise for 1 hour, covered.
  5. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a separate bowl.
  6. Roll out the dough and spread melted butter over it.
  7. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
  8. Cut the dough into strips and stack them.
  9. Place the stacked strips in a greased loaf pan.
  10. Let rise for another 30 minutes.
  11. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes.
  12. Cool before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container.
  • Best served warm.
  • Can be topped with icing if desired.
