Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add egg, vanilla, and almond extract to the butter mixture.
  5. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients.
  6. Roll dough into tree shapes on a floured surface.
  7. Place cookies on baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until golden.
  9. Let cool, then decorate with icing and sprinkles.
