Ingredients

- 2 cups of Brussels sprouts, halved
- 1 cup of cranberry sauce
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1/2 cup of chopped pecans
- 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare Brussels sprouts by tossing them in olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet.
- Roast Brussels sprouts for 20-25 minutes until tender.
- Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Drain potatoes and mash with butter, heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
- In a pan, combine cranberry sauce, pecans, and maple syrup. Heat for 5 minutes.
- Serve roasted Brussels sprouts alongside mashed potatoes and warm cranberry sauce.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Use fresh cranberries for a homemade sauce.
- Substitute sweet potatoes for regular potatoes if desired.
