- 1 whole turkey (12–14 lbs)
- 2 cups stuffing
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
- 2 cups cranberry sauce
- 1 gallon eggnog
- 1 apple pie
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare the turkey by cleaning and seasoning it.
- Stuff the turkey with the stuffing.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover with butter.
- Roast the turkey for about 3-4 hours, basting every hour.
- Cook mixed vegetables in a pot until tender.
- Serve turkey with cranberry sauce and vegetables.
- Pour eggnog into glasses for drinks.
- Slice and serve apple pie for dessert.
Notes
- Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
- You can substitute stuffing with bread crumbs.
- Consider adding more sides like mashed potatoes or salad.
