Description

Ingredients

  • Royal icing for decoration
  • Assorted candies for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar together.
  4. Add molasses, egg, and vanilla to the butter mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until combined.
  6. Roll out the dough and cut out shapes for the house.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until firm. Let cool.
  8. Assemble the house using royal icing and decorate with candies.
