Description

A sweet and creamy chocolate fudge perfect for the holiday season.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar and cream over medium heat.
  3. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips, cocoa powder, butter, and vanilla.
  6. Stir until smooth and well combined.
  7. Add nuts if desired.
  8. Pour mixture into prepared pan and spread evenly.
  9. Let it cool at room temperature for 2 hours.
  10. Cut into squares and serve.
