Ingredients

- 2 cups of green beans
- 1 cup of sliced almonds
- 4 cups of mashed potatoes
- 1 cup of sour cream
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Blanch green beans in boiling water for 3 minutes.
- Drain and sauté green beans with sliced almonds until golden.
- In a bowl, combine mashed potatoes, sour cream, milk, butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Transfer mashed potatoes to a baking dish and bake for 20 minutes.
- Serve green beans alongside mashed potatoes.
Notes
- Feel free to add cheese to the mashed potatoes for extra flavor.
- Adjust green bean cooking time based on your preference for doneness.
