- 1 whole turkey (12–14 lbs)
- 2 cups stuffing
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup green beans
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 1 pie (pumpkin or pecan)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare the turkey by seasoning it and stuffing it with stuffing.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover it with butter.
- Roast the turkey for about 3-4 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- While the turkey is cooking, prepare the green beans by steaming them.
- Make the mashed potatoes and keep them warm.
- Serve the turkey with green beans, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce.
- Finish the meal with a slice of pie.
Notes
- Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
- Use leftover turkey for sandwiches the next day.
