- 1/2 cup (100g) brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, melted
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup (50g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (90g) chocolate chips (optional)
- 1/2 cup (125g) creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup (30g) powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter. Mix well.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
- In a small bowl, mix creamy peanut butter with powdered sugar until smooth.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, then drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture over it.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter on top and swirl the peanut butter mixture gently with a knife.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool for 15-20 minutes before cutting into squares.
