Ingredients

  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (100g) brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (50g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup (90g) chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/2 cup (125g) creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup (30g) powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter. Mix well.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a small bowl, mix creamy peanut butter with powdered sugar until smooth.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, then drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture over it.
  6. Pour the remaining brownie batter on top and swirl the peanut butter mixture gently with a knife.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Let cool for 15-20 minutes before cutting into squares.
