Description

Easy chocolate oatmeal no bake cookies.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa, milk, and butter.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
  3. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla.
  5. Add rolled oats and mix well.
  6. Drop spoonfuls onto wax paper.
  7. Let cool until set.

Notes

  • Store cookies in an airtight container.
  • Can use almond butter as a substitute for peanut butter.
  • Adjust cocoa for more or less chocolate flavor.
