Description

Delicious chocolate chip cookie brownies combine the richness of brownies with the classic taste of chocolate chip cookies.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  3. In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in the granulated and brown sugars.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, stirring well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  7. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
  8. Fold in the chocolate chips and nuts if using.
  9. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Let cool before cutting into squares.
