Description

Chicken Shawarma with Garlic Sauce is a popular Middle Eastern dish made with marinated chicken and a creamy garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken thighs
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp vinegar

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and spices.
  2. Add chicken and marinate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Preheat grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  4. Cook chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine yogurt, mayonnaise, garlic, and vinegar to make garlic sauce.
  6. Slice cooked chicken and serve with garlic sauce.
