Description
A comforting chicken pot pie dish made with orzo pasta.
Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked orzo
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas and carrots)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add flour, stirring constantly until it forms a paste.
- Gradually whisk in chicken broth and milk until smooth.
- Add onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in shredded chicken and mixed vegetables.
- Add cooked orzo and mix well.
- Cook for 5 minutes until heated through.
- Serve warm.

- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
