Delicious hand pies filled with cherry and cream cheese.
Ingredients

- 1 cup cherries, pitted and halved
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 package pie crusts (2 crusts)
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix cherries, cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla.
- Roll out pie crusts and cut into circles.
- Place a spoonful of the cherry mixture on one half of each circle.
- Fold the other half over and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with the egg and milk mixture.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh or frozen cherries.
- Adjust sugar based on cherry sweetness.
- Store in an airtight container.
