Description

Delicious hand pies filled with cherry and cream cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cherries, pitted and halved
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 package pie crusts (2 crusts)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix cherries, cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla.
  3. Roll out pie crusts and cut into circles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cherry mixture on one half of each circle.
  5. Fold the other half over and seal the edges with a fork.
  6. Brush the tops with the egg and milk mixture.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before serving.
