Description

Delicious cherry cheesecake brownies with a rich chocolate base.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Add flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into a greased baking pan.
  6. In a bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  7. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter.
  8. Add dollops of cherry pie filling on top of the cream cheese layer.
  9. Pour the remaining brownie batter over the cherry layer.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Let cool before slicing.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
  • Use fresh cherries for a different flavor.
  • Adjust baking time for different pan sizes.
