Ingredients
- Penne pasta: 300 grams (about 10.5 oz)
- Ground beef: 500 grams (about 1 lb)
- Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
- Butter: 60 grams (about 1/4 cup)
- Cheddar cheese: 200 grams, shredded (about 2 cups)
- Mozzarella cheese: 200 grams, shredded (about 2 cups)
- Heavy cream: 240 ml (about 1 cup)
- Salt: to taste
- Black pepper: to taste
- Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned, then drain excess fat.
- Add minced garlic and butter to the skillet, stirring until the butter melts and garlic is fragrant.
- Combine the cooked penne pasta with the garlic butter beef, then add heavy cream, salt, and black pepper, mixing well.
- Stir in half of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese until evenly coated.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Top with remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese, then bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
