Ingredients

  • Flatbread: 1 large (store-bought or homemade)
  • Fresh mozzarella cheese: 200 grams, sliced
  • Ripe tomatoes: 2 medium, sliced
  • Fresh basil leaves: 1 cup, whole
  • Pesto sauce: 1/2 cup (store-bought or homemade)
  • Balsamic glaze: 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
  • Salt: to taste
  • Pepper: to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. Prepare your flatbread base by rolling out homemade flatbread or placing store-bought flatbread on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread pesto sauce evenly over the flatbread, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Layer sliced fresh mozzarella and tomatoes on top of the pesto, seasoning lightly with salt and pepper.
