- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheese (optional)
- Lettuce leaves
- Sliced tomatoes
- Pickles
Instructions
- Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
- Mix flour, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Coat marinated chicken in the flour mixture.
- Fry chicken for 6-8 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Place chicken on buns and add cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles.
- Serve hot.

- Adjust the level of Cajun seasoning to your taste.
- For extra crunch, double-dip the chicken in buttermilk and flour.
