Ingredients

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in milk and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
- Fill cupcake liners with batter and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Allow cupcakes to cool before filling with pastry cream.
- Top with chocolate frosting.
