Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  3. In a large bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla extract; mix well.
  5. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture; stir until combined.
  7. Fold in blueberries, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add more lemon zest.
