Ingredients

  • Puff pastry: 1 sheet (thawed if frozen)
  • Goat cheese: 150 grams (softened)
  • Fresh blackberries: 1 cup (approximately 150 grams)
  • Honey: 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh thyme: 1 tablespoon (chopped)
  • Egg: 1 (for egg wash)
  • Salt: a pinch
  • Black pepper: to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and roll out the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface.
  2. Cut the pastry into strips that are about 1 inch wide and 6 inches long.
  3. In a bowl, mix the softened goat cheese, honey, chopped thyme, salt, and black pepper until creamy.
  4. Spread a thin layer of the goat cheese mixture down the center of each pastry strip and add a few blackberries on top.
  5. Fold the pastry over to enclose the filling, pinch the edges to seal, and twist the ends in opposite directions.
