Delicious blackberry cream cheese brownies with a rich flavor.
Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup fresh blackberries
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- Mix in flour, cocoa, and salt until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
- Spread half the brownie batter in the prepared pan.
- Drop spoonfuls of cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter.
- Add blackberries on top of the cream cheese.
- Spread the remaining brownie batter over the blackberries.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Store brownies in an airtight container.
- Best served chilled.
- Use fresh blackberries for optimal flavor.
