Description

Delicious blackberry cream cheese brownies with a rich flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  5. Mix in flour, cocoa, and salt until just combined.
  6. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
  7. Spread half the brownie batter in the prepared pan.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter.
  9. Add blackberries on top of the cream cheese.
  10. Spread the remaining brownie batter over the blackberries.
  11. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  12. Let cool before cutting into squares.
