A delicious twist on the classic grilled cheese with blackberry and bacon.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 slices of bread
- 1 slice of cheddar cheese
- 2 slices of cooked bacon
- 2 tablespoons of blackberry jam
- 1 tablespoon of butter
Instructions
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side, spread blackberry jam.
- Layer cheese and bacon on top of the jam.
- Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side out.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the sandwich for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove from heat and let it cool for a minute before slicing.
Notes
- Use any type of bread you prefer.
- For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of salt on the bacon.
- Serve with a side of fresh fruit.
