A creamy and delicious vegan alfredo sauce that is gluten free.
Ingredients

- 1 cup raw cashews, soaked
- 1/2 cup nutritional yeast
- 1 cup almond milk
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
- Soak the cashews in water for at least 4 hours.
- Drain and rinse the cashews.
- Blend the cashews, nutritional yeast, almond milk, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until smooth.
- Heat the mixture in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring frequently.
- Serve over your favorite gluten-free pasta.
Notes
- Adjust the thickness by adding more almond milk if needed.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
