Description
Berry bliss macarons are delicate French cookies with a fruity filling.
Ingredients

- 200g almond flour
- 200g powdered sugar
- 150g egg whites
- 50g granulated sugar
- 100g berry puree
- 100g unsalted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F).
- In a bowl, sift almond flour and powdered sugar.
- In another bowl, beat egg whites with granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the almond mixture into the egg whites.
- Pipe circles onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Let the macarons sit for 30 minutes to form a skin.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Allow to cool completely.
- Prepare berry buttercream by mixing butter, berry puree, vanilla, and sugar.
- Sandwich the macarons with the buttercream.
Notes
- Make sure the egg whites are at room temperature.
- Use fresh or frozen berries for the puree.
- Store macarons in an airtight container.
