Description

A delightful twist on the classic tiramisu using bananas.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Puree the bananas in a bowl.
  2. In another bowl, mix mascarpone, cream, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Fold the banana puree into the mascarpone mixture.
  4. Dip ladyfingers quickly in the coffee.
  5. Layer ladyfingers in a dish, then spread a layer of the banana mascarpone mixture.
  6. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
  7. Dust the top with cocoa powder.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes
