Ingredients

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups milk

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  4. Stir in flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder; cook for 1 minute.
  5. Slowly whisk in milk and cook until thickened.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted.
  7. Add cooked macaroni to cheese sauce; mix well.
  8. Pour mixture into a baking dish and top with breadcrumbs.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
